In alchemy, it is associated with the "golden apple", Water of the World, symbol of the spirit, dissolving anything within it. A powerful weapon, it has been used since ancient times against spells, negativity and evil. A sulphur crystal worn against the skin protects, it also purifies the blood, intestines, urine.
