The chemical symbol of sulphur is S, its harness is 1.5 to 2 and has a bright yellow colour. It is of volcanic origin, and can be found in Italy, Japan, Indonesia, and the USA. Amongst the first known elements of men, it has always been attributed supernatural powers. It burns easily, its flame pale blue, its odour strong and prickly, it acts on mucous membranes triggering tears and cough. It is widely used in the industry. It is used as a purifier, insecticide, fungicide, bactericide, a protection associated with mother earth. In alchemy, it is associated with the "golden apple", Water of the World, symbol of the spirit, dissolving anything within it. A powerful weapon, it has been used since ancient times against spells, negativity and evil. A sulphur crystal worn against the skin protects, it also purifies the blood, intestines, urine. Its calorific effect controls fevers by sweating. It keeps away evil spells and absorbs negativity, bringing energy and vitality.
