Solomon's Seal is one of the most important symbols of Freemasonry. It is the fruitful combination of water and fire as represented by the traditional symbols of alchemy (two triangles upside down), one of these triangles being the active-male and the other the passive-female principle. Consequently the combination of opposites leads to peace.
